In January 2014 he took a leap of faith and stepped out to opening a church. He was ordained Pastor of Divine Empowerment Christian Church in Smyrna Delaware. At a young age Pastor Scott joined Calvary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Richard M. Avant and was baptized. He was an active member at The Upper Room Church in Milford, DE under the leadership of Elder Shirley Baker and served there for 7 years. He worked diligently as a deacon, in the media ministry, Sunday school superintendent, Sunday school teacher and pastor’s armor bearer. Pastor Jermaine heard the call and said “Yes” to Gods will and “Yes” to Gods way under the guidance and leadership of Rev. Dr. Michael T. Scott Sr. He continues to move forward and step into what God has called him to do. He has been anointed and appointed for such a time as this, he is a leader, a teacher, a preacher and truly hears from God. Pastor Scott is the Founder and CEO of Jermaine C. Scott Ministries.
This is an outreach ministry that has been birthed to help the people of God realize, understand, maximize, and walk into their divine purpose in life.
Pastor Scott has obtained a Master’s Degree in Theology. He is currently still working towards obtaining his Doctorate Degree. He is married to Tasha R. Scott and has 4 children, 3 girls Alexus, Jourdyn and Shyanne and 1 boy Jermaine Jr.
